Pig-Perm
Pig-Perm is a translational system for efficient screening and evaluation of transdermal formulations, and accurate predictions of drug absorption and pharmacokinetics in humans with the intended TDDS. The lack of reliable approaches to evaluate and predict the performance of TDDS in humans is a widely recognized issue in the field of TDDS. Pig-Perm, a Shenox proprietary platform, validated by model compounds and internal programs, is the first of its kind to provide translation of preclinical results to clinical study outcomes for TDDS.
